I admit I’m doing the Tarot reading for the month of July quite late. I’ll course-correct in later months, mark me! I’ve just started the path-walking of the Fool, so this should be interesting.

The Cross: Centrally, we have our signifier, the Fool, surmounted by her challenge: the Two of Swords. Shadows strike from dark corners, but to close one’s eyes is to avoid illusion.
Below us is the Chariot, rocketing forward at amazing speeds, leaving the misty-mad Moon behind. We are crowned by the Five of Cups- whatever we sought in lunacy, we have come away without. It is a great disappointment, but it is not everything. Before us lies the Magician, appropriately– the next step on the Tarot journey.
The Rood: We are cloaked in the Star, innocence and naivete, and there are predators lurking nearby, represented by the Seven of Swords. Temperance tells us to have patience, let them pass us by.
For our last stretch, The Tapestry of our future: the Six of Cups, Nine of Cups, and Ten of Swords– we are to look to our memories, our ambitions, our failures, and learn.
Altogether, this reading tells of a visionary journey away from the material world, in which we must be careful of dangers but remain ignorant to them, an impossible paradox mediated only by virtue and patience. Our faith will falter, but we will meet our goal sooner than we thought, and the real test will be in (big surprise) critical self-examination.
