While goofing off while down with a head cold one afternoon just before New Years, my eyes were miraculously opened by a divine but ultimately silly hand. You see, I had wrapped my blanket round myself to ensure maximum comfy while getting some tea. In my cleverness, I took a decorative pin and placed it near the base of my neck, effectively fixing the blanket in place round my shoulders. And all at once, I knew… I must make a cloak! Or, in my own disease-crazed words, a blanket that I would never need to leave.
So began my quest. I pillaged my human’s yarn stockpile, only to discover that some yarns within were not his, but mine that I had forgotten there when I meant to take up crochet. A sad day for pillaging; a good day for fibercraft. Armed with a 9-millimeter creation stick, I produced my first garment! Behold!

With its cool hues, cozy fabric, silver tassels and simple design, it almost perfectly mirrors the cloaks worn by the Dream-Druids of Iv. Affixed to it is that same decorative pin– a small mirror in the shape of an eye, my token of Divinity as required by the OAK.
This is one of five projects in crochet or knit that the Bardic path requires of me, so expect more sick wizard designs soon. See you, Sinners!
